The Intelligence and Memory

Three Classifications of Memory [Kimura 02].

  1. Memory that is fixed in genes and cannot be changed.
  2. Memory that can only be written, such as “imprinting.”
  3. Memory that can be read, written, and edited in the usual way.

Turing Test

A hypothetical test or Gedankenexperiment to clarify the question as to whether computers can think.
